Byron White MemorialThe Byron R. White Memorial in the Byron White U.S. Court House in Denver is now open to the public 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. There is no admission charge to enter the exhibit; however, visitors into the building must check in with security and provide a government issued photo ID. Cameras, cell phones with cameras, and any recording device is not permitted in the memorial. We thank you for your cooperation and hope you will enjoy the memorial exhibit. The memorial contains a number of items from his Supreme Court office, memorabilia relating to his family and fabulous multiple careers (scholar, athlete, military, practicing attorney, political and judicial) and other material. The Society supports the Circuit Court in this project, including documents, publicity, family liaison, collecting material and oral histories. The memorial is located on the first floor of the court house at 1823 Stout Street. The Society has provided a slide show below of approximately 20 items showcased in the memorial. White Memorial was dedicated in a ceremony held in Denver on November 14, 2006, with remarks by Chief Judge Deanell Tacha, Judge David Ebel, Judge Neil Gorsuch, and Justice White's son, Charles B.
